Young First Aider (7 – 16 year olds)

Children are natural learners. They like to explore, ask questions and pretend. They learn by doing.

This practical Course is very much tailored to the age & needs of the young First Aider and can vary in length from 2 – 6 hours.

It is ideal for Schools or Clubs who wish to give children those important first steps in understanding how easy it is to help others in need. This can vary from dialling 999 with confidence to placing someone in the recovery position or recognising when another person needs help & how to get it.

The Course can cover all or some of the following :

  • First steps in First Aid
  • Awake & Not Awake
  • Recovery Position
  • Not Awake – Not Breathing
  • What is resuscitation – and practice

  • Poisoning
  • Bites & Stings
